Master's Message children's class discussion topic of the week.
Who can tell me what a habit is?
A habit is something you do regularly, often without even thinking about it. It's like a routine or a pattern of behavior that you repeat over and over. For example, brushing your teeth every morning, tying your shoes before leaving the house, saying "thank you" when someone helps you, and coming to Cobra for training twice a week are all good habits.
Research shows that for most people it takes about 1-2 months of practicing, or repeating something, before it becomes a good or bad habit.
The key is consistency—practicing the new behavior every day or as often as possible. The more you repeat it, the more natural it will feel, and eventually, it will become a habit and part of your daily routine.
